  • Notice of Full Road Closure - View the Map

    Highway 112, between Hwy. 11 and Hwy. 66, will be temporarily closed to through traffic to facilitate the replacement of drainage culverts. The attached map illustrates the location of the planned road closure. Closure will commence on 6 July 2015 and will last for a maximum of 10 days.

    North bound detoured traffic should use north bound Highway 11 followed by east bound Highway 66.
    South bound detoured traffic should use west bound Highway 66 followed by south bound Highway 11.

    Traffic originating from Highway 112 south of the closure or from adjoining side roads will detour toward the Highway 11 junction.

    Traffic originating from Highway 112 north of the closure or from adjoining side roads will detour toward the Highway 66 junction.

    Council invites individuals in building a stronger economic future for Kirkland Lake to submit an application to join the municipality’s Economic Development Committee. Please provide a cover letter explaining why you are interested in the joining the Committee and attach a brief resume detailing your experience. The Terms of Reference for the Committee can be found here. Please submit your application to the Clerk by June 19,2015. All applications will be submitted to Council for consideration and selection.
